| Description |
A Bierdeckel from Lufthansa, the German airline. Lufthansa names its airplanes after cities, but I would guess that Nürmberg (Nuremberg) represents an airport which Lufthansa serves. No brand of beer. I have not flown on Lufthansa very often. I would guess that this is 1967, when airlines still had a few amenities, from Munich to London on my back to the U.S. Munich-Riem airport, where the airplane took off, was closed in 1992. The beer is unknown, but I have put this in the Southern Germany set because Lufthansa headquarters, the origin of the flight, and the depicted city are all in that region. |
