Description
English: Memorial-building for Martin Luther in Eisleben. By mistake called "Luther's house of birth." The original, a much smaller building at the same location, was destroyed by a great fire in 1689 AD. This representativ building was build 1693 AD in memory of Martin Luther by the town's government. It is one of the earliest museum-buildings in Germany.
Deutsch: Linkes Gebäude: Fälschlicherweise als "Luthergeburtshaus" bezeichnetes in Eisleben 1693 errichtetes Memorialgebäude am Geburtsort Martin Luthers. Das kleinere Originalgebäude brannte 1689 ab und wurde durch dieses städtische repräsentative Gebäude ersetzt. Es handelt sich um eins der frühesten Museumsbauten in Deutschland.
