English: Customary Tattooing.
Two New Guinea girls with tattooing on the lower parts of the bodies; the upper parts will be done later, and, when fully tattooed all over, back and front they really almost seem to lose the appearance of nakedness which would otherwise be so obtrusive. The customary grass skirt has been shortened to show the tattooing. Deutsch: mit Tatauierungen, die nur an den unteren Körperteilen durchgeführt sind und auf dem Oberkörper später vervollständigt werden. Wenn der ganze Körper tatauiert ist, Mädchen von Neuguinea, verfiert er saft den Eindruck der Nacktheit. Der übliche Grasrock wurde gekürzt, um die Tatauierung zu zeigen. |
