English: Traditional Sami women's "horned cap" seen in Inari, Finland, drawing by Carl Erik Soldan (1811-1870) 1850 - 1860. This type of cap was traditionally worn by Sami wives and widdows in Finnmark, Norway, etc. in the 19th century. The headdress is called "ládjogahpir", "ládju", etc. in Sami, "hornlue" in Norwegian, "sarvilakki" or "kuumukka" in Finnish, and "hornmössa" in Swedish.
