US Marine Corps (USMC) Private First Class (PFC) Jeremy Schumacher, a Rifleman assigned to India Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, uses his 5.56mm M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) to provide security, during a landing zone insertion and extractions exercise conducted at Camp Eggers in Asadabad, Afghanistan, while conducting Security And Stabilization Operations (SASO) in the Kunar Province of Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
