Description
Español: Situación de los límites entre Chile, Perú, Bolivia y Argentina el año 1866 tras la firma del tratado de 1866 entre Chile y Bolivia. La única frontera acordada era la del 24°S entre Chile y Bolivia.
  • En el mapa Colton de 1855 aparece un límite P-B que solo al oeste sigue el curso del Río Loa y deja en el centro y este ambas riveras del río para Bolivia.
  • En el mapa Bonne de 1780 aparece Bolivia o Charcas sin salida al mar y Perú tiene una frontera común con Chile
  • En el mapa Pinkerton de 1812 Bolivia llega hasta la altura de Camarones (al sur de Arica) y no tiene salida al mar
  • En el mapa Paz Soldan aparece la mas comun de las fronteras P-B aunque no la unica
  • En el mapa Malte-Bruhn aparece la frontera B-A a la altura de Antofagasta
  • La frontera P-B fue delimitada también por dos tratados: el Tratado de Demarcación de Fronteras entre Perú y Bolivia,22 firmado en La Paz, el 23 de septiembre de 1902 y el Tratado de Rectificación de Fronteras entre Perú y Bolivia, firmado en La Paz, el 17 de septiembre de 1909; el Protocolo firmado en La Paz el 2 de junio de 1925 y el Protocolo Ratificatorio firmado en La Paz el 15 de enero de 1932.
Es decir, no es posible dibujar un mapa con las fronteras correctas sencillamente porque no habian tales.
