Description
English: Maastricht, the Netherlands. Sculpted relief depicting Duke Henry I of Brabant granting the burghers of Maastricht their constitution (Alde Caerte, 1204 - left) and the right to build a wall around the city (right). The relief by Dutch sculptor Hendrik van den Eijnde was originally part of Wilhelminabrug, which was largely destroyed in WWII. Now in Kleine Griend (part of Griendpark).
