Summary[edit]

Description
English: One of some pictures taken of the mosaics. As can be seen on some pictures, the general appearance was faint, so lots of editing was necessary to bring out more. Also a lot of perspective correction was required to get some impression of how the details might look. . A modern cover protects the remains of a church in basilica form with a nave and two aisles, discovered in 1902 and constructed in 578. It has mosaics, with a central medallion personifying the sea, its mosaicist is identified as Salman.
