Summary[edit]
DescriptionMalmö Museum South Facade Drawing (1901).jpg |
English: Located at the southern edge of Slottsparken (Castle Park), the Malmö Museum was completed in 1901. The museum later moved out and in 1946 the City Library moved in. In 1997 a new extension to the west opened and this older library building was renovated and reopened in 1999. It continues to be used as part of the library complex. The building is known informally as the Castle (Slottet in Swedish). This image was originally published in Arkitektur och Dekorativ Konst, Nov. 2, 1901 issue. |
