Summary[edit]

Description
English: Malo Cross Standing at the foot of Whinney Nab the cross disappeared in the 19c but was discovered in a garden in Pickering in 1924 and was re-erected. The name Malo is derived from the de Mauley family who lived at Mulgrave Castle at Sandsend, near Whitby. The RE engraved stands for Sir Richard Egerton who owned the estate in the 17c.
