| Description |
English: LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 near Mangotsfield North Junction. View eastward, across the ex-Midland Birmingham - Bristol/Bath main line, just north of where the line from Bath joined the main line. This whole area has changed so radically since the closure of the Marshalling Yard at Westerleigh on 22/2/65 and of the main line up from Bristol via Mangotsfield to Yate from 18/1/70 (to Bath on 28/5/71), with motorways and housing spreading throughout, it is particularly difficult to locate this view precisely. Back in 1963 this was on a busy main railway. |
