Summary[edit]
DescriptionMankial Mountains.jpg |
English: Makial mountains, that can be seen from a distance because of its towering peaks lie to the East of Kalam valley in Hindukush Ranges, Swat, Pakistan. Mankial or Mankyal mountains consist of a semi-circular arc of jagged, towering peaks with a maximum elevation of 5600 meters (approx). Length of this mountains' arc is approximately 22 km. These lovely hills provide a breathtaking view of the snowy gullies, especially when the sky is clear. This arc of mountains/peaks can be accessed by hikers and trekkers from Kalam via Boyun village and Mankyal village. Shot was taken from Kalam bazar using a telescopic zoom of my bridge camera. |
