Description
Español: Lapida de don Manuel de la Puente Querejazu en el cementerio Presbítero Maestro, Lima. Departamento de San Cristobal, C-9. Reza: Custodi animam meam et brue me: non erubescam quoniam speravi in te. Aquí la mano piadosa de la religión reserva las cenizas del s.d. Manuel de la Puente y Querejazu, antiguo marqués de Villafuerte que falleció el 26 de junio de 1839 a los 62 años de edad. Esposo incomparable, Padre amoroso hasta su delirio, ciudadano honrado y amigo sincero. Su tumba será respetada por cuantos lo conocieron, y sus hijos pagaran en lágrimas el tributo que deven a su inefable amor. La justicia divina ha premiado sin duda sus virtudes y esta consideración hace el consuelo de su familia desolada. Requiescat in pace.
