Deutsch: Vorderseite: REX TRIVMPHATOR REDVX. Friedrich II. zu Pferde nach rechts,, den Feldherrnstab in der rechten Hand. Im Abschnitt die Medailleursignatur F M (Friedrich Marl).

Rückseite: FRIDERICVS / REX BOR EL BR SVPR / SIL DVX PATER PATR / OPTIM PATRIMONIO / AVITO VINDICATO ET / PORTIS VICTOR BERO/LINVM REVERTITVR / DEN XII IVL /1742. Gebogene zehnzeilige Aufschrift, darunter drei Rosetten.

Kommentar: Inwieweit Marl aus eigenem Antrieb die kleine Medaille geschaffen hat, ist nicht bekannt. Die Stempel zur Medaille befinden sich aber im Berliner Münzkabinett. Sie stammen aus der ehemaligen königlichen Prägestätte. Prägungen der beschäftigten Medailleure durften nur mit Erlaubnis des Königs hergestellt werden.
