English: The Matthew Moore house dates back to 1700 according to the sign on the gate, and is nestled in the woods in Moores Springs, N. C.

Not visible from Moores Springs Road, the Matthew Moore House is hidden away in a clearing in the woods, and is accessible by footbridge crossing Cascade Creek, at the foot of Hanging Rock State Park. It has not been occupied for some time.
