Description Tres modos diferentes de dispersión de los frutos. Anemocoria en una cipsela de Taraxacum (1a) y en sámaras de Acer (1b). Los frutos del cocotero (Cocos nucifera) son un ejemplo de hidrocoria, de dispersan flotando sobre el agua, arribando a nuevas playas (2a) donde la semilla germina (2b). La dispersión por animales o zoocoria es auxiliada por la presencia de ganchos, como los que se observan en la cipsela de Xanthium spinosum (3a) o en la cápsula de Datura stramonium (3b).
Polski: Trzy sposoby rozsiewania owoców: anemochoria – owoce mniszka z aparatem lotnym z puchu kielichowego (1a), skrzydlaki klonu (1b); hydrochoria – owoce kokosa (2a) unoszone przez wody oceaniczne na wiele kilometrów, dzięki czemu mogą kiełkować na nowych plażach (2b); zoochoria – owoce rzepnia kolczastego (3a) lub bielunia dziędzierzawy (3b) przyczepiające się do sierści zwierząt.
