Medical Unite Self-Contained Transportable (MUST) (NCP 229), National Museum of Health and Medicine

Description: Medical Unit Self-Contained Transportable (MUST) at Ft. Sam Houston. 45th Surgical Hospital.

MUST was a type of medical equipment system that used inflatable shelters for ward space and other expandable shelters for operating rooms and other sections. They were powered by units that produced air and air conditioning to keep the shelters inflated.
