English: Memorial, Butts Brow. Marking the spot where a USAAF B24-D Liberator badly damaged by enemy action and flying in very low cloud crashed killing all on aboard on 2 February 1944. This view follows the western edge of the grid square south taking in Willingdon Golf Course and Eastbourne as well further afield. |
