English: Memorial Cairn. A memorial cairn to James Graham 1st Marquis of Montrose in Raising the Royal
Standard of King Charles 1st on 30th August 1644. The cairn was built by the Marquis of Montrose Society in 2003 close to where the Standard was raised. The hill in the background is Carn Liath and part of the Beinn a Ghlo range. |
