| Description |
English: Memorial area, St. Mary's Church, Lower Ince. The WW1 Memorial Plaque (top) and the WW2 Plaque frame (middle) were taken from the original church, demolished in 1978, when this former school was converted to become the church. A model of the old church is on the right, beneath the key to the main door, and a photo of the Altar there. Benbeath the plaques are the medals, including the "Death Penny", awarded to Private Harold Beach(kia, Somme, 1918). |
