English: Messier 80 is a globular cluster 32,600 ly away in the constellation Scorpius - Located near Antares in a field rich in nebulae - Contains several blue stragglers (stripped outer layer stars by close encounters and collisions between them) - In 1860 a nova was observed outshining the entire cluster -
