Deutsch: Pestkreuz bei Leiberg. Die Inschrift lautet: „ANNO 1635 DEN 25 [AV]GVSTI HAT VNS GOT DIE PESTILENS GESANT, WIE MANGEM IST BEKANT, SINT VOM DORF LEBERG 400 MENSCHEN GESTORBEN, DENEN GOT DIE SELIKIT ERWORBEN. AMEN.“
Der Pestfriedhof befindet sich im Leiberger Wald, etwa 4 km südwestlich von Bad Wünnenberg. Die unten angegebene Objektposition bezieht sich auf den Friedhof, nicht das Kreuz.
English: Plague cross near Leiberg. The inscription reads, roughly: "In the year 1635, the 25th of August, our God gave us the Great Plague. The [death toll?] is unknown, [?] 400 people from the village of Leiberg died, those who had caught [the disease?]. Amen.
