| Description |
English: Metropolitan Line railway between King's Cross and Farringdon A view unseen by its thousands of daily users this is a section of the original Metropolitan Line underground railway opened in 1863 between Paddington and Farringdon. Now used for Circle and Hammersmith & City Line trains too, the side walls of the cutting have been reinforced by metal girders. This view was taken from the Acton Street bridge looking towards King's Cross with the Swinton Street bridge in view. |
