Description
Čeština: Postupní migrace neutrofilů z kostní dřeně do místa infekce. Po emigraci neutrofilů z kostní dřeně cestují cévami. Následně po stimulaci chemokiny nebo infekčními patogeny v tkáni začínají neutrofily válivou adhezi k endoteliálnímu povrchu a migraci přes endoteliální stěny. V okamžiku dopravení neutrofilů na místo infekce dochází k aktivaci NADPH oxidázy a uvolnění granul, co vede k přímému zabití patogenů.
