Summary[edit]

Description

Mike Maryn, age 21, swam in the 2015 Oceanside Pier Swim, in the 19-24 Male division. He finished 1st in his division and his overall place was 66th out of 278 participants. Maryn’s overall time was 00:23:45.

I used a little Photoshop trickery to combine two images of Mike. The steps were as follows: - Mirror one image - Enlarge canvas - Paste second image - Adjust second image so that the size of Mike on the right matches his size on the left - Use a gradient blur to blend one image into the other -Crop the image.

If you look at the shadow on Mike's neck, you can see that one of the images was mirrored.
