English: Minsmere panorama, winter light. To the left, in the foreground, is Minsmere Sluice, with Minsmere River New Cut stretching away behind. In the centre are the ponds and scrapes of the RSPB Minsmere Bird Sanctuary, famous, along with 224824, for the recolonisation of the avocet in this area. To the extreme right, the long low white building atop Minsmere Cliffs used to be the Coastguard Cottages, now National Trust tearooms etc.6965 |
