MIRIAM BATTISTA was born in New York City, on July 14th, 1914, and is receiving her education from private tutors. This remarkably talented child actress made her stage debut with Maude Adams in "A Kiss For Cinderella," later playing with Nazimova in "A Doll's House." Henry Miller and many other stars of the legitimate stage have cast her for their productions, and her characterizations both on stage and screen have delighted her vast number of "fan" friends of all ages. Frank Borzage, whose gripping screen drama "Humoresque" scored such a wonderful success brought Miriam her first important screen role, and the child has since appeared with distinction in many productions. She is endowed with rare dramatic talent, and excels as a mimic. She is 4 feet 7 inches, weighs 81 lbs., and has black hair and shining black eyes.
