Summary[edit]

Description
English: Miscanthus crop on the footpath to Vellow Wood Farm. Around the West Somerset village of Williton is one of the main miscanthus growing area in England. Producing more combustible material per acre than any other crop, the intention is to use it as a biomass fuel although as yet there is no power station locally to burn it. Miscanthus is a perennial grass regrowing every year without the need to resow.
