Deutsch: Das Missale ließ der Halberstädter Dompropst Johannes Semeca (Zemeke) anfertigen. Dieses 223 Blätter umfassende Missale vereint sowohl die Gebetstexte als auch die während des Kirchenjahres in der Messe zu lesenden Texte der Bibel in sich. Mit Tinte auf Pergament geschrieben, bereichern Illuminationen den kostbar ausgestatteten Band.
English: The missal was ordered by provost Johannes Semeca (Zemeke). It includes 223 sheets with prayers and texts from the bible according to the church year. Illuminations enrich the texts written on parchment. |
