Deutsch: Der Mittersee liegt im Faulenbacher Tal bei Füssen. Hier ist die Große Sterndolde (Astrantia major) am Seeufer zu sehen. Das Gebiet wird geschützt als Landschaftsschutzgebiet („Schutz von Landschaftsteilen im Bereich des Faulenbacher Tales, des Lechtales, des Schwanseetales und des Alpseegebietes") und FFH-Gebiet („Falkenstein, Alatsee, Faulenbacher- und Lechtal“).
