Description
Nederlands: Al jaren hangt ergens in een verloren hoekje bij mijn ouders een ingekleurde foto van mijn overgroot opa Cornelis Johannes Nouwens keurig in uniform poserend. Er hangt ook een met de hand geschreven naamplaatje aan en een medaille. De foto is gemaakt tijdens de mobilisatie in Nederland toen ook hij op dertigjarige leeftijd opgeroepen werd.

Wat hij in die mobilisatieperiode heeft gedaan of waar hij gestationeerd was, weet ik niet en het lijkt me leuk om daar wat meer over te kunnen vinden. Op het naamplaatje staat wat informatie maar ik kan er niet alles van ontcijferen helaas misschien kan iemand me hierbij helpen?

Hij is na een gelukkig leven te hebben geleid in Tilburg, eind jaren zestig in Moergestel gestorven.
