Summary[edit]

Description

Pictured is a representation of connections among a network of political weblogs (public-domain data from Adamic and Glance, 2004). The image derives from an analysis method based on the theory of graph limits, which generalizes any network to a continuum of possible connections. As a network increases in size, the estimated surface better and better approximates its underlying structure. See the article by Olhede and Wolfe in PNAS (<a href="http://arxiv.org/pdf/1312.5306v3.pdf" rel="nofollow">arxiv.org/pdf/1312.5306v3.pdf</a>).
