Sjaal om de hals. Kleine handtas in de hand. Achter haar doet een man met gleufhoed en gestreepte sjaal zijn jas aan. Zij verlaten een bioscoop met orkest voordat de film is afgelopen. De prent maakt deel uit van een serie van 12 houtsneden van Fernand Siméon, met teksten van Paul Valery, voor het zevende deel (10e année 1922) van Modes et Manières d'Aujourd'hui. Elke uitgave had een oplage van slechts 300 stuks en was exclusief gewijd aan één kunstenaar die 12 prenten ontwierp rond een bepaald thema. In deze serie staat het 'leven van de modieuze vrouw in de maatschappij' centraal.
