Description
English: Mole (Talpa europaea) catcher's gibbet on Malham Moor. Part of a large collection of moles hung on a barbed wire fence (the gibbet) by a mole-catcher as evidence of his work. Once a common sight in the countryside, but now quite rare. Upland chalk grassland and dry stone walls in background.
