DescriptionMonroe County Courthouse, Clarendon, Arkansas.jpg	English: Mostly abandoned downtown Clarendon. While there, 2 buildings were being torn down, and a few more in their small downtown were slated to be torn down this year (2011). Most small towns in eastern and southern Arkansas have mostly abandoned downtowns, and its no stretch of the imagination to say that within 40 years, nothing will be left of any of their historic downtowns, except maybe a courthouse.
