Description
Español: Placa conmemorativa en el monumento dedicado a Hans Christian Andersen en la plaza de la Marina, Málaga, España. La estatua es obra de José María Córdoba del año 2005, realizada por encargo de la Casa Real Danesa. Representa al escritor sentando en un banco, en actitud relajada. La obra conmemora la visita a Málaga del escritor en octubre de 1862, que recogió en su obra 'Viaje por España'. En su obra, Andersen escribió que «en ninguna otra ciudad española he llegado a sentirme tan dichoso y tan a gusto como en Málaga».[1] El texto en la placa conmemorativa del monumento dice: «Hans Christian Andersen / 1805-1875 / "En ninguna otra ciudad española he llegado a sentirme tan dichoso / y tan a gusto como en Málaga" / Viaje por España, 1862 / Patrocinadores: / Fundación Reina Isabel de Dinamarca / Novo Nordisk / Widex Audifonos / Defco / La estatua fue inaugurada el 14 de junio de 2005 / por S. A. R. Princesa Benedikte / Escultor / José María Córdoba».
