Русский: Сретенка. Пустырь между Пушкаревым (на фото) и Большим Сергиевским (за спиной фотографа) переулками. Большое здание на другой стороне Сретенки - школа 1999 года постройки. На месте пустыря располагался дом по адресу Сретенка, 13 - где, по утверждению Иена Флеминга, располагалась штаб-квартира реального (а не книжного!) "Смерша". А вот так этот дом выглядел со двора в реальности [1]. Обычный старый жилой дом, с течением времени разваливавшийся и в итоге снесенный без остатка. English: An empty lot in Sretenka Street, Moscow - the site of demolished Sretenka 13 building. According to Ian Fleming, it was the site of the real-life (not imaginary)
Smersh organization. In real life, however, it was an ordinary run-down tenement block [2] |
