עברית: יום לציון 49 שנים לפטירתו של ראש הממשלה ושר הביטחון הראשון, דוד בן-גוריון ז"ל, התקיים במדרשת בן-גוריון שבשדה בוקר. במהלך היום נערך טקס אזכרה ממלכתי במעמד נשיא המדינה, יצחק הרצוג, ראש הממשלה, יאיר לפיד ובהשתתפות ראש המטה הכללי, רב-אלוף אביב כוכבי וחברי פורום מטכ"ל. לאחר הטקס קיימו המשתתפים יום למידה, במעמד נשיא המדינה. את דברי הפתיחה הקדיש נשיא אוניברסיטת בן גוריון, פרופסור דניאל חיימוביץ, למימוש חזונו הציוני של בן גוריון בפיתוח הנגב, האקדמיה, הלמידה והשגשוג ומנהל המכון למורשת בן גוריון, מר איתן דוניץ, סיפר על ארכיון בן גוריון ומרכז המבקרים החדש. פורום המטה הכללי קיים סיור בארכיון המסמכים של ראש הממשלה ושר הביטחון הראשון וצפה בכתביו המרתקים של האיש המספרים את השקפת העולם של בן גוריון באשר לתפקידו של צה"ל כצבא עם ממלכתי. נשיא המדינה, מר יצחק הרצוג, קיים עם אלופי צה"ל שיח מרתק והרחיב בדבריו אודות יחסי ישראל והתפוצות וכן ראיון ושיח של מנחת ההסכתים (הפודקאסטים) הגברת אפרת שפירא-רוזנברג עם ד"ר מיכה גודמן על הרעיונות הגדולים והאתגרים בקשר שבין מדינת ישראל והתפוצות. |
