Description
English: Mount Rainier from the Takh Takh Meadow and Lava Flow, below Mount Adams. The area cam be accessed from Takhlakh Lake Campground. The lake offers postcard quality views across the lake of Mount Adams, towering at over 12,000 feet. Here you can explore the accessible(more difficult accessibility) Takhlakh Loop Trail that encircles the lake, offering views, wildflowers, wildlife, and solitude. From here you can also hike up the short Takh Takh Meadows Trail. This is a great family hike that explores the volcanic history that characterizes this area.
