Summary[edit]
DescriptionMountain Bluebird (32351388894).jpg |
NPS/Patrick Myers In early March, the first mountain bluebirds arrive back in the valley for spring. Bluebirds are usually the first seasonal songbirds to return, even though some March days can be snowy and blustery. Look for them along the park entrance road; they typically sit on a shrub or tree branch, and occasionally dive into the grasslands after insects. |
