Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A newborn mouse cochlea (the hearing organ in the inner ear). Sensory hair cells are located along the cochlea. Stereocilia bundles (green arcs), hair-like projections that sit on top of the hair cell, cause the hair cell to respond to sound. Supporting cells (blue and red) surround the hair cells.
