English: Mowmires Reach, Rutland Water. This is the tiny portion of land in the SE corner of this square. Before the valley was flooded there was a wood called Mow Mere's Spinney stretching down the slope from this position. The trees in the middle distance are on the shoreline by the Normanton Park Hotel in SK9306. |
