| Description | Dhaka Cantt 2016: After getting a heads up that there had been an auction at CMTD I grabbed my camera and went to the parking lot beside the establishment to see what jad been auctioned. There was the CA-30 still waiting to be scrapped, LC70s and the Defender. And there was this Aurunima Bolyan (Isuzu FSS) in battered shape. Surprisingly he said to me 'Do shoot ours too!' Apparently an old face in this automotive auction 'game', Mr Zahir bought the truck for 3 lack taka ( 3819 USD) and by his estimates its gonna take an investment of another 15 lacks ( 19000 USD) to make this properly road worthy. Glad to know it wasnt destined for the gas-cutters! on the contrary, it was destined for the Banderbans (Chittagong). |
