Some clippings were sent from Jacksonville showing Mrs. Lyle, Mrs. Mozeley, and Mrs. Wittichen. The article said they had over 350 members. Of course I want very much to have the monument dedicated before I am out of office and Mr. DeLue says that it can be done. I am writing now to Mr. Sturdivant and hope that we can get that started. I had talked to Mr. Adams at length in Texas and I hope that we will help get the Fla. funds. I will keep you posted but at the moment do not have any concrete information. I am waiting to get a copy of the design and will then ask the opinion of the Planning Board here and let you know what they say.
