Description
English: Mrs. Sarah J. Sprague was a nurse during the American Civil War. After enlisting under Dorothea Dix, she cared for wounded Union military personnel in Washingotn, D.C. area hospitals from September 1862 to March 1864. Post-war, she was a member of the National Association of Civil War Army Nurses, and resided at Wells' Place in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1910.
