Summary[edit]

Description Diffusely invasive mucincous adenocarcinoma simulating the appearance of lobar pneumonia. This pattern is usually the result of aerogenous spread of tumor. Microscopically much of this tumor exhibits a bronchioloalveolar type of growth pattern.
