Summary[edit]

Description
English: Mufti Nemat, better known as Mufti Nematullah Qaweem, a Afghan militant leader. He fought with the Taliban until 2015, defected to the government, but eventually joined the Islamic State's Khorasan Province (ISIL-K). He became ISIL-K's second-in-command for Jowzjan Province, fighting both Taliban as well as the government until his surrender to the Afghan National Army in 2018. He has been accused of numerous war crimes.
