Summary[edit]

Description

DDOT executive staff joins Mayor Muriel Bowser at an announcement about the improvements at a major intersection in Ward 8.

The improvements to the intersection will enhance pedestrian and vehicle safety along the corridor while creating aesthetically-pleasing streetscape for multimodal access.

The project is part of the District’s commitment to Vision Zero, an initiative adopted by many other big cities to end traffic deaths and injuries.
