| Description |
English: Mystery earthwork on Row Hill, New Forest. There are a parallel pair of banks near the top of Row Hill, I don't know their origin (they aren't prehistoric, but have been here long enough for silver birch to grow to a good size). This picture is a composite of two photos to show the easternmost bank. It has a parallel ditch on this side, presumably to supply the material for the bank. The banks are marked on the 1:25000 OS map. |
