Description
Français : Église Notre-Dame du Sablon de Bruxelles. Église Notre-Dame du Sablon de Bruxelles. Dans le croisillon sud, on trouve le pendant des écussons du croisillon nord, flanqué d'une verrière réalisée par G. Ladon en 1920. Don de familles nobles, cette verrière représente le roi Albert Ier et la reine Élisabeth, accompagnés de leurs saints patrons, Saint-Albert le Grand de Cologne et Sainte-Élisabeth de Hongrie. Derrière les souverains, les ruines de Nieuport et d'Ypres rappellent discrètement les épreuves de la Première Guerre mondiale.
